Systems Administrator – Halifax (On-Site) Location: Halifax, UK Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: Circa £40,000 per annumWe’re hiring an experienced Systems Administrator to join a growing in-house IT team for a forward-thinking, tech-led organisation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the Lead Systems Administrator and CTO to manage, secure, and optimise on-premise and cloud infrastructure.You’ll play a key role in keeping critical systems running, supporting a hybrid tech environment, and helping drive automation and infrastructure improvements across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain on-prem and cloud systems (Azure/AWS) Support server provisioning, networking, security, and backups Respond to alerts and incidents to maintain uptime and performance Drive automation and scripting to reduce manual tasks Support internal IT requests, audits, and onboardingWhat You’ll Need2–4 years in a Systems Admin or similar IT infrastructure role Solid experience with Windows/Linux environments, AD, Group Policy Comfortable with virtualisation (VMware), Office 365, and scripting (PowerShell/Bash) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Familiarity with hybrid cloud setups, networking, and endpoint securityBonus if you have:Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker/Kubernetes, or Intune/JAMFPerks & EnvironmentFully on-site role in a modern Halifax office Open, collaborative tech culture Free in-office breakfasts (2x per week) Competitive salary, pension & European travel opportunitiesIf interested, please apply immediately.
