The Delivery Manager role is not a project management, change management / communications or SAP/ERP HR solution architect role. However, these skills and expertise are very beneficial for the nature of the DM role.
The candidate must have significant experience of delivery management (project delivery) within an ERP SAP SuccessFactors implementation – full lifecycle implementation. The System Implementation Partner (HCL) owns and manages the project and programme plan. The City of London is responsible / accountable / consulted / informed about tasks or activities within the plan. The DM is responsible for ensuring the City of London’s obligations in relation to the plan are met.
Typical tasks and activities include:
- Delivery Tracker to ensure COL meets its obligations
- Fit-to-Standard Workshops
- Configuration Workbooks
- Playback Iterations
- Data Uploads
- Testing – SIT, KUT, UAT Readiness
- Deployment
- Post Go Live Support
Strong understanding and experience of SuccessFactors – Employee Central, Employee Central-Payroll, Recruitment, Performance & Goals, Learning Management System, Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Succession & Development, Employee Central-Service Centre.
Strong awareness and understanding of SAP Activate Methodology. Significant experience of executing project and programme plans (tasks, activities) and through others, identifying risks and issues, dependencies. Experience of working client side on an ERP implementation programme.
Excellent interpersonal skills, team and collaborative working, ability to work at pace. Certified project manager e.g. PRINCE2 qualified, agile, scrum etc. Must be able to work on site at least 3 days per week. Immediately available. Experience of working with PMOs, system implementation partners (client side), project and programme teams.
This role is £700 a day outside IR35 on a 6-month basis.
