Senior Accountant

I am working with a fast-growing insurance group looking to hire a senior accountant. This is an innovative, fast-paced business with ambitious growth plans. The role is an important position within the finance team with good exposure to senior business leaders.

This is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:

• Ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards - UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, Lloyd's.
• Production and delivery of Lloyd's regulatory returns and FCA/PRA reports.
• Automation and improvement of finance processes.
• Balance sheet reconciliations, controls and process review.

You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven technical knowledge of UK/US GAAP, IFRS and Lloyd's reporting. You will need to be able to own processes and have the desire to automate and improve financial processes. You will need to be comfortable working with external auditors and have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
