The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced BMS Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work on optimising existing BMS control strategies, upgrading obsolete BMS controls, and integrating low-carbon solutions such as Solar PV, heat pumps, and hydronic system optimisation., * Conduct detailed surveys of BMS and HVAC equipment to identify energy conservation opportunities.

Assess baseline performance of BMS control strategies through strategy drawings, O&M documentation, and observed conditions.

Collect and analyse BMS logs to model potential energy savings initiatives.

Collaborate with BMS sub-contractors to design and cost energy savings initiatives for various proposals.

Review and seek client approval for BMS design data, including control philosophies, risk assessments, and impact assessments.

Ensure BMS initiatives are delivered to agreed specifications within timeframe and budget.

Support the commissioning, witness testing, and handover of BMS energy savings initiatives.

Measure and verify guaranteed energy savings.

Demonstrable experience in delivering BMS optimization and upgrade projects.

In-depth knowledge of BMS and HVAC control strategy design and operation.

Experience working with BMS sub-contractors and project delivery teams.

Familiarity with integrating HVAC plant into BMS using networks like BACnet, Modbus, and MBus.

Ability to work with customer IT teams to upgrade IT infrastructure for BMS systems.

Highly motivated, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
