The role: Technical Planning Engineer – 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £40,500 – £45,000 per annum
We’re looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join the Engineering Planning department within BA Cityflyer. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of Hangar and Line Maintenance Planning including the production of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work packs to support the operation of our Embraer E190 fleet.
We are looking for a team player with good communication skills and the ability to cope under pressure by prioritising tasks as required.
What you’ll do:
- Work as a part of an effective high performing team that develops plans to deliver business requirements.
- Responsible for the production of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work packs with all the associated materials/tooling/equipment to support the aircraft inputs.
- Liaise with Maintrol Department, Technical Services, Materials and Third Party maintenance providers to expedite rectification of aircraft deferred defects.
- Assess and setup control of manufacturers and vendors service bulletin documents in Oases and liaise with technical and materials departments to ensure correct Mod accomplishment.
What you’ll bring to BA Cityflyer:
- Experience within an aircraft maintenance planning environment essential.
- Prior experience of working in a busy engineering environment.
- An understanding of Engineering Business, and the ability to support compliance of E190 fleet by meeting planning deadlines.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative.
- Proven team and people skills.
Your experience:
- Planning experience.
- Understanding of Part CAMO Regulatory Requirements.
- Knowledge of Oases software (Desirable).
- Embraer E190 knowledge (Desirable).
- Experience of liaising with Third Party Maintenance Providers.
