Summary:
The role is a Lead Platform Engineer that will be leading a platform support function on GCP initially for an existing Data Science environment hosted in GCP. Role scope includes the following:
Scope includes support and maintenance activities such as, but not limited to:
- Performing updates to Terraform code as required by support activities
- Security patching and vulnerability remediation
- Problem investigation and resolution
- Minor application updates such as updating dependency versions and bug fixing
- Maintaining existing and adding new data connections
- Rotating certificates and secrets where required
- Deployment of service control and configuration policies where required
- Maintaining Azure Devops deployment pipelines (for both platform changes and applications)
- Interaction with customer teams such as the networking team where required to resolve issues
