HR Business Partner

Location: London-based (with weekly travel to other sites – Uxbridge)

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum

Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Role Overview:

As an HR Business Partner reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the HR function across multiple sites in London and Uxbridge. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to drive impactful change within a supportive SME environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring HR initiatives support our rapid growth and employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and compliance with employment law, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, enhancing our employer brand and ensuring top talent acquisition. Drive training and development initiatives, including succession planning and performance coaching.
  • HR Operations and Compliance: Manage HR processes such as absence management, employee onboarding, and HR system administration (Bamboo). Ensure compliance with auditing requirements and employment legislation.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote a collaborative and engaging work environment through effective communication strategies, social events, and employee recognition programs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a strong background in HR generalist functions including recruitment, employee relations, and talent management.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Autonomous and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or construction sectors advantageous.
