The children’s home in Ilford currently supports two young people, with the capacity to care for up to five, depending on the matching process. We are looking for a Deputy Manager . Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help lead the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young residents. Key Responsibilities * Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home * Ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding are upheld * Building strong relationships with children, staff, families, and external agencies * Implementing care plans and managing risk assessments effectively * Leading by example and fostering a positive, supportive team culture What We’re Looking For * Level 3 in Residential Childcare – essential * Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Children’s Home Regulations * Previous experience in a supervisory role within a children’s home * A full UK driving licence is highly desirable If you’re committed to making a meaningful impact on children’s lives and have the skills and passion to support their journey, we’d love to hear from you.
