EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS PROGRAM
The Morgan Stanley Experienced Professionals Program (MSEPP) is designed to recruit professionals with diverse backgrounds and experiences, with or without a background in finance, and to develop their banking skillsets through training and the apprenticeship model. This program emphasizes attracting populations who have experienced barriers to entry in the finance industry, including first-generation college students and people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

This program is open to applicants of any race, gender, or other protected characteristic. The Morgan Stanley Experienced Professionals Program is a component of our overall recruiting effort.

We welcome talented and highly motivated candidates with at least two years of post-graduate work experience in a professional environment from a diverse range of industries, including but not limited to: Actuarial Science, Aerospace, Applied Maths, Consulting, Earth Sciences, Energy, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, FinTech, Government, Law, Life Sciences/Pharma, Insurance, Information Technology, Military/Defence, and Medicine.

TRAINING
The program is based principally at the firm’s London office and will commence in July 2025. Based on your skillset, experience, and interests, successful candidates will be offered a permanent Analyst level role in one of our participating divisions. On joining, participants will complete six to eight weeks of formal orientation, training, and development. You will also attend training and study sessions to prepare for any required licensing and registration exams and will be provided with a wide range of resources and support including a dedicated program leader, mentor, and buddy, and ongoing product-specific training and career management tools.

PARTICIPATING DIVISIONS

Global Capital Markets: In the Global Capital Markets division, we offer global expertise in market analysis and in advisory and capital-raising services for corporations, institutions, and governments.

Investment Banking: In the Investment Banking division, we offer global expertise in market analysis and in advisory and capital-raising services for corporations, institutions, and governments.

Research: Through timely, in-depth analysis of companies, industries, markets, and world economies, Morgan Stanley has earned its reputation as a leader in the field of investment research.

Sales & Trading (Institutional Equities, Fixed Income & Bank Resource Management): Morgan Stanley’s Sales and Trading division assess and manage risk and financial resources, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions in both primary and secondary markets.

Investment Management (MSIM): Morgan Stanley’s Investment Management division strives to provide strong long-term investment performance, outstanding service, and a comprehensive suite of investment management solutions to a diverse client base, which includes governments, institutions, corporations, and individuals worldwide.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • You must have at least two years of post-graduate experience along with a strong academic background.
  • Additional skills, such as programming, and qualifications such as an MBA, CPA, CFA, or ACA may be an asset for certain roles.
