Sellick Partnership are recruiting for an up and coming Commercial Finance Analyst for a well-established business in the manufacturing / FMCG.
As the commercial finance analyst, you will have ownership over a number of sub-divisions of the business from a commercial perspective, influencing continuous improvement and change to drive an increase in sales and margin.
You will get excellent exposure to the senior sales and operations management team in this high visibility position. You will also get the opportunity to develop into a true commercial business partner and the option to complete your finance qualifications in either CIMA or ACCA with full study support provided, under the guidance of an impressive commercial finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly performance reviews for the sales team with a focus on sales and margin analysis.
- Prepare monthly forecasts and budgets to present to senior operations teams.
- Provide key insight to commercial operations and areas of improvement to the bottom line.
- Drive cost reduction through data.
- Challenge, influence, and lead senior management to ensure high levels of performance.
- Improve reporting, forecasting, and month-end processes.
The role of commercial finance analyst would suit someone with 12 – 24 months experience as either a finance analyst or management accountant with some analytics exposure around variance.
You will be value-add focused, with a curiosity to get to know the business, challenge current processes, and bring solutions to the table, to then influence senior leaders to create change. You don’t need to have been in a business partnering position, just to be comfortable delivering insight and holding your own in discussions in a professional manner and have the drive to move into a business partnering position.
There is an element of travel for this role, so a driving license is essential and the ability to travel 2 or 3 times a month.
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits (Hybrid working).
