We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Glasgow and drive process improvements, ensuring compliance, and optimizing performance. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, proactively identify opportunities, and help shape the quality system in the company. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Provide expert advice and support to enhance site quality performance through continuous improvement initiatives,
  • Maintain and improve the site’s Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and other relevant certifications, such as Halal and Kosher,
  • Assist the Quality Manager with the completion and archiving of customer questionnaires,
  • Organize and support internal Safety, Health, and Environment and additional audits,
  • Record and track corrective and preventive actions, including actions related to customer complaints,
  • Assist in the implementation and management of the document control system,
  • Support and participate in quality improvement projects,
  • Analyze quality data and provide recommendations for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with various levels and departments within the organization,
  • Ability to work independently,
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred,
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, including ISO 9001 and 14001,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel,
  • Solution-oriented and results-driven approach to work,
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail,
  • Demonstrates accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
