Are you passionate about food and education? We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Technician to join our dynamic team in Northampton from September 2025. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and supporting the delivery of high-quality food technology lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist teaching staff in demonstrations and practical work with students.
  • To support students with their learning.
  • To maintain the tidy storage of materials and equipment.
  • To maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the curriculum areas, adhering to health and safety requirements.
  • To assist with ordering materials for curriculum use.
  • To assist with any administrative tasks required for the curriculum areas.
  • Any other reasonable duties requested by the Principal.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for food and cooking.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Has experience in a similar role or a background in food technology (preferred but not essential).
