Are you passionate about food and education? We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Technician to join our dynamic team in Northampton from September 2025. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and supporting the delivery of high-quality food technology lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist teaching staff in demonstrations and practical work with students.
- To support students with their learning.
- To maintain the tidy storage of materials and equipment.
- To maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the curriculum areas, adhering to health and safety requirements.
- To assist with ordering materials for curriculum use.
- To assist with any administrative tasks required for the curriculum areas.
- Any other reasonable duties requested by the Principal.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for food and cooking.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Has experience in a similar role or a background in food technology (preferred but not essential).
- Is committed to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
