We are seeking a motivated and capable GP to step into the role of Deputy Medical Director (DMD) for Practice Services. This pivotal role is designed to enhance the quality of care, support the clinical workforce, and drive intra-and inter-practice improvements within BrisDoc\’s Practice Services.

This is an excellent opportunity for one or more GPs with diverse experiences and backgrounds to gain senior leadership experience in a supportive, nurturing environment. We are looking for GPs passionate about fostering innovation and championing clinical excellence in general practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic clinical leadership to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities across BrisDoc’s Practice Services.
• Foster strong relationships within and between practices, and with external stakeholders, including local practices, One Care, VSCE, and the ICB.
• Support clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to a culture of openness and learning, working alongside established teams.
• Collaborate with the Head of Practice Services and Medical Director to align clinical initiatives with operational priorities.
• Mentor and support Lead GPs, clinical leaders, GPs, and GP trainees, fostering professional growth within a supportive framework.
• Represent BrisDoc in PCN, clinical forums, and external stakeholder meetings, contributing to primary care strategy within BNSSG.
