Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our newly established team. As a Support Worker you will provide assistance to the children in your care, ensuring their well-being, comfort and needs are met. Duties: – Implement care plans, risk assessments and provide support to children living at the home. – Assist with daily living activities and care needs – Engage in recreational activities and outings with children – Maintain accurate records of care provided – Communicate effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals Requirements: – Previous experience in childcare or working with vulnerable individuals is preferred – Ability to drive and transport individuals as needed – Strong communication skills to interact with children and their families – Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes – Willingness to follow care plans and adapt to children’s ongoing and development needs. - Residential Childcare: 2 years (required)
