Class 1 Drivers

Pay Rates

• Days (04:00-16:00): £18.54/hr
• Nights (16:00-04:00): £19.52/hr
• Saturday (All hours): £19.52/hr
• Sunday & Bank Holidays (All hours): £20.55/hr

30-minute unpaid break deducted per shift. Your chosen shift rate applies throughout the entire shift.

Typical Shift Pattern

• Start Times: Between 03:00 and 15:00
• Shift Length: 8-13 hours
• Deliveries: 36 store drops per shift

Recruitment Process

• Assessment (4 hours): Written test on Working Time Directive (WTD) & Highway Code, Practical drive assessment
• Paid Induction (8 hours): On-the-job introduction to your regular route, Scheduled at the end of your assessment week or the following Monday

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months recent UK Class 1 driving experience
• Good command of spoken English
• Willingness to work early mornings, nights & weekends as required
