Account Executive (Medical Communication Services)
The Role:
Account Executive manages the day-to-day activities to creatively execute and produce client marketing programs. You will communicates externally with the client and internally with the project team to keep everyone informed of project status, updates, and changes.
- Build relationships with clients based on trust and credibility.
- Collaborate with clients, Account senior leaders, strategy, and creative departments to develop creative briefs that solve clients’ marketing challenges.
- Serve as creative and execution lead for new, larger scale and/or more complex marketing programs; upon client concept selection, lead the day-to-day creative development from start to finish; secure required client approvals (e.g. creative briefs, budgets, creative materials, etc.); ensure progressive steps in the process are approved with adequate time to meet schedules.
- Guide internal and client meetings, presentations, and calls; prepare relevant documents, including agendas, presentation decks and follow-up communications, etc.
- Evaluate copy, layouts, artwork, media plans, and production materials and make suggested revisions in keeping with agreed-upon strategies and business objectives.
- Keep agency team informed of client requests and changes; anticipate potential problems and potential implications; proactively develop and execute solutions.
- Proactively contribute to managing project scope and budget; notify manager of client requests that fall outside of scope; alert client of financial and timing implications; secure client approval to proceed and revise budgets as needed.
- Analyse program results, summarize findings and recommend program enhancements and/or changes to improve going forward.
- Assist senior leadership in the development of program recaps and associated presentations for clients based on analysis of results and recommendations.
- Monitor the status of work-in-progress and client budgets; lead internal status meetings with finance and project management; review estimates/billing and approve invoices.
Education and Experience:
- Scientific Degree completed with Marketing/Economics specialization.
- Some experience in the industry.
Skills:
- Level of English: fluent.
- Proficiency in MS Office Tools, especially Excel and Power Point.
- Knowledge of CRM tools is considered a plus.
- Communication – both written and spoken. Comprehensive and current knowledge of Agency’s offerings and industry trends.
- Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
