An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Architectural Technologist to join a well-established and expanding architectural practice based in Northamptonshire. This position offers the chance to work across a diverse range of high-quality residential and commercial projects within a collaborative, design-focused studio.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and comprehensive construction packages
Support the development of design proposals, ensuring they are practical, buildable, and fully compliant with current regulations
Collaborate closely with internal project teams to achieve deadlines and uphold high-quality standards
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies as required
Undertake site surveys and attend site visits or inspections
Maintain up:to:date knowledge of building regulations, industry updates, and best practice
Key Requirements
Demonstrable experience in a similar Architectural Technologist role
Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
Solid understanding of UK building regulations, construction techniques, and technical detailing
Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
A proactive, methodical, and solutions-driven approach
