Position: Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
Location: London
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 Dependent on years of experience

We are working on behalf of a family-owned business that has grown from manufacturing agricultural sheds to becoming one of the country’s leading structural steel firms. The company offers comprehensive services to the Irish and UK construction sectors, including design engineering, steel fabrication, erection, cladding, decking, and fire protection painting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in analysing budget vs. cost dynamics using ERP data.
- Provide support in overseeing time, labor, and expenditure across various project aspects.
- Contribute to the creation of weekly reports, offering insights into commercial landscapes.
- Collaborate on risk management and cost control initiatives throughout project lifecycles.
- Learn and provide advice on contractual matters, ensuring compliance with legal and quality standards.

Key Experience:
- Eagerness to learn and develop in a similar role, estimating, commercial assistant, quantity surveying with at least 2 years experience.
