SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Inclusive of good sound maintenance to the open top large PSV fleet. Ensuring work to maintain the Double Deck bus fleet is completed to a reputable standard and ensures maximum vehicle availability at all times working to the DVSA Guide to Vehicle Roadworthiness and the vehicle manufacturer’s specification of regular Planned Maintenance Inspections. Preparing vehicles for annual test and presentation to the DVSA and ensuring vehicle availability to Operations is paramount.
BREAKDOWN OF DUTIES:
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Recording all vehicle maintenance duties to vehicle files
- Attending Driver defect reporting repairs
- Attending fleet roadside failures through tour routes in London
- Ensuring all work is correctly recorded to maintain vehicle maintenance files
- Complying with all Health & Safety requirements in a heavy vehicle maintenance facility
- Working to a high standard to repairs for permanent first time fix every time ensuring vehicle availability to Company expectations

- Working to HSE compliance in a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance facility
- Reporting immediately any equipment failure
