Materials Planner Redditch Up to £30,000 per annum (DOE) Benefits: Early finish on a Friday. Attendance bonus. Free onsite parking. Cycle to work scheme. We are looking to recruit a Materials Planner, who will be tasked with establishing the supply of materials to ensure operational stock levels are optimal, as to meet the scheduling and continuity targets of production. Ensuring the efficient delivery of solutions to meet the required production requirements in both a flexible and effective manner. Responsibilities of the Materials Planner: Check and determine volume requirements against planning expectations. Management of deliveries and daily orders. Lessen the impact on the production schedule buy understanding and managing risks. Follow up on actions in relation to shortages of materials that can have an effect to the production schedule. Support continuous improvement activities and help identify areas of improvement. Raise and book purchase orders for any stock or materials to be transferred from the warehouses. Complete inventory checks and leave the business with minimal liability on obsolete stock. What we are looking for in the Materials Planner: Ability to build rapport and relationships both internally and externally. Excellent commercial and financial awareness. A results orientated person, who is well organised and can plan for and deliver against tight deadlines. Strong problem solving skills, with an analytical approach.
