German speaking Accountant
Pinpoint Resourcing are working on behalf of a logistics company to assist them in securing a German speaking Financial Accountant. With a head office based in Hounslow this company are seeking an individual to prepare the statutory accounts, liaise with the external contacts in Germany.
Duties:
- Submission of the statutory accounts
- Liaising with External Auditors
- Complete the month end procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
- Review branch and cost accounts for the group
- Interpret and provide insights to the branch, company and group cost structures
- Accurate processing of the financial transaction including recurring and non–recurring journals, accruals and prepayments
- Engagement with the general business – commercial and operational
- VAT submissions
- Responsible for the Fixed Asset Register
Desirable:
- Studying towards ACA or ACCA
- Previous experience with UK GAAP/IFRS 102
- Strong understanding of financial controls and governance
- At least 3 years working in a similar position
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary + Additional information
- Paying between 55,000 – 65,000
- 5 days in the office
