Eye4 Recruitment are working with a reputable client based in Petersfield, to recruit for an experienced Finance Assistant. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintain and update financial records and ledgers with high accuracy. * Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently and on time. * Reconcile bank statements and accounts, resolving any discrepancies swiftly. * Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports in support of accountants. * Phone Bank to get account activity & post accordingly on Sage * Reconcile Cardnet payments * Liase with Accountants re payroll & Revenue payments Help with sales order processing * Process VAT quarterly liaising with Accountants KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. * · Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * · Proficiency in accounting software Sage and Microsoft Excel * · Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. * · Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. * · Strong analytical skills and the capacity to work under pressure. * · Effective communication skills HOURS & BENEFITS: * Pension Scheme * Opportunities for professional development and training. * Holiday allowance starting at 20 days per year plus Bank Holiday
