IT Support Desk Engineer role working for a Specialist IT Distribution market leader, supporting daily runnings of internal systems, supporting staff and customers, and with opportunities for growth. The candidate should be comfortable and capable in responding to 1st and 2nd line support requests as a minimum baseline. Minumum 18 Months experience in relevant role or industry, no specific product or vendor experience or knowledge is required, but knowledge of the below product areas would be advantageous to your application: HPE & Aruba Product Portfolio Fortigate Windows Server and Endpoint OS Linux OS 3CX Platform SQL Basic Salary offering will reflect any previous experience, qualifications, and ability. Typical Responsibilities will include: * Provide IT and networking support to all staff for both hardware and applications * Liaise with external support, partners, and contractors where necessary * Monitor core systems function and report findings or action resolution as applicable by level of experience, and assist in general company systems maintenance * Provide Pre and Post Sales support and advise to the Sales team and Customers * Assist in, or manage, development projects as appropriate by level of experience * Perform RMA (returned product) testing, and inbound stock quality checks and testing * Identifying when a knowledge gap exists, and recommending training as applicable
