Part Time Legal Counsel (3 days per week)

London based role (hybrid working)

A hugely respected private wealth bank is seeking to hire a solicitor on a part time basis, to join its impressive legal team. The role is for 3 days per week in their London office and will be hybrid, meaning 1 day per week in the office. It will advise on a range of commercial, corporate and banking matters relating to the general day to day issues that may arise. Being a bank that supports High Net Wealth individuals, the role will include private client and trusts related work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for a variety of private client matters, including trust and structures.
• Provide strategic legal advice to the bank’s senior leadership on regulatory and transactional matters.
• Provide legal support on commercial negotiations on behalf of the bank.
• Monitor and advise on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and market trends impacting the bank’s products.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent).
• Ideally you will have at least 4 or 5 years’ PQE in private client law in any of the following: Wills, Succession Planning and Trusts, International Personal Tax, Wealth, Probate or Landed Estates.
• An ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commercially minded with a proactive and problem-solving approach to legal matters.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative and results-driven attitude.
