Are you an experienced legal professional looking to make an impact in international law?

Our legal department is growing and we are looking for a Legal Counsel to join us. Under the supervision and guidance of our Head of Legal and Compliance, you will be handling the legal and compliance support of the company’s business activity.

All You Need Is

  1. Law degree from a reputable university;
  2. Exceptional writing and editing skills in English;
  3. Upper-intermediate English or higher is a must;
  4. 2+ years of professional experience in the gambling industry is required;
  5. Experience in AML/KYC, GDPR, and compliance regulations;
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  7. Ability to meet deadlines;
  8. Hard-working, well-organised and able to manage numerous tasks simultaneously under pressure;
  9. Hybrid work model: 2 days at the office, 3 days from home.

Your Daily Adventures Will Look Like

  1. Reviewing contracts with software providers, payment services providers, etc., drafting new contracts with clients, making changes to existing contracts;
  2. Researching and analysing legislation of various jurisdictions, including gaming licensing matters;
  3. Supporting gaming license application process;
  4. Maintaining existing gaming licenses in various jurisdictions, communicating with local agents and regulators regarding licensing-related matters;
  5. Dealing with KYC-related matters, passing checks with banks, payment services providers, software providers;
  6. Performing KYC checks on new and existing clients, reviewing and verifying received documentation, black-lists and sanctions checks, etc.;
  7. Legal paperwork (completing questionnaires, applications, forms, letters, drafting powers of attorney, internal policies and regulations);
  8. Opening accounts with banks and payment services providers;
  9. Registering companies in various jurisdictions and maintaining existing ones in cooperation with local agents and consultants;
  10. Registering and maintaining trademarks, protecting IP rights;
  11. Conducting legal research on various legal matters related to day-to-day support of the company’s business activity;
  12. Dealing with GDPR, AML related matters;
  13. Drafting and improving website documentation (policies, terms and conditions, etc.) and bringing existing documents into compliance with applicable legislation, updating website documentation according to requirements of local agents and regulators;
  14. Dealing with a scope of other legal matters under the supervision of the Head of Legal and Compliance.
