Our client, a leading UK Financial Services Group is looking for an experienced Supplier Manager who can build strong and long-lasting relationships with suppliers which are fundamental to the execution of the group wide strategy. In order to be successful in this role, you must have the ability to forge effective strategic partnerships, driving performance and delivery in line with contractual requirements. You will nurture relationships which are critical in delivering resilient and innovative services and solutions to customers.
You must be a highly motivated individual, who can develop and manage a portfolio of suppliers, and who can work in partnership with both external providers and internal senior stakeholders, to ensure services are resilient and aligned with policies, contracts and business expectations. You will work extensively in collaboration with a wide range of business areas, ensuring your suppliers drive incremental value and deliver competitive advantage in line with strategic and operational objectives.
You must be an analytical individual who can utilise data to identify trends, deliver continuous improvements to maximise value and minimise risk in the supply chain. Using your relationship management skills, you'll hold supply partners to account for service delivery, whilst working in partnership to identify continuous additional value, ultimately acting as a source of expertise with your suppliers, providing professional advice to key partners and colleagues.
