Lead the Future of Cloud-Based Technology Sales
We’re excited to partner with a leading development company to offer this rare opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Manager. As the company expands and launches a new Cloud-based software platform, we’re looking for a sales professional with a strong track record in selling technology and SaaS solutions—ideally in engineering or manufacturing.
The Role
- You'll lead technical sales efforts, particularly for the new SaaS platform and complex system solutions involving both hardware and software.
- You'll support internal sales teams with technical tenders and help onboard clients to next-gen products.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical sales, focusing on SaaS and integrated hardware/software solutions
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
- Deliver product demos, respond to technical sales enquiries, and prepare tenders
- Onboard customers to Cloud solutions and provide ongoing support
- Identify new business opportunities and report on Cloud rollouts
- Stay informed on public transport tech trends to align solutions
- Support the Sales Director with strategy development
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior-level tech/SaaS sales
- Strong understanding of Cloud tech and SaaS platforms
- Ability to learn and explain hardware-software integrations (serial, Ethernet, etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially savvy with good analytical thinking
- Self-driven and highly organized
Desirable
- Knowledge of electronics or vehicle electrical systems
- Additional languages (French, Spanish, German)
This role is UK-based with occasional international travel.
