CNC Programmer Setter

CNC Programmer – Birmingham Full-Time on days | £14.50 to £16 an hour (DOE) A well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their production team. The Role: You will play a key part in supporting the CNC team and Manufacturing Engineers, with responsibilities including: Programming and operating Fanuc or Mazak VMCs Online programming at the machine control TPM/PPM activities Absence cover for machinists Supporting Lean and 5S initiatives Key Requirements (Essential): UK National (due to security clearance requirements) Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering (minimum) Strong experience with CNC programming, setting, and operating Proficient in reading technical drawings including GD&T Flexible, hands-on team player Desirable Skills: Mazatrol and/or turning experience Exposure to CAD/CAM software Competency in MS Excel & Word CMM operation experienceHours: 37 hours/week Mon–Thurs: 07:30–16:00, Fri: 07:30–12:30   (Some flexibility required)Holidays: 25 days (mix of Christmas shutdown & floating days) Apply now to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking engineering team…
