Role – Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead

Customer Industry – Global Financial Market Data provider.

This role will help with new opportunities in the CPQ area.

CPQ Migration is one of the top priorities and a highly visible strategic program for 2025. The Quote to Cash (CPQ) migration involves migrating customers from legacy Siebel to the Salesforce CPQ Platform.

Key responsibilities:

1. Involve in Salesforce CPQ solution design and development.
2. Liaise with key stakeholders to determine and prioritize business requirements, transforming them into technical requirements, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful, cost-effective project execution.
3. Create, run, and present a measurable BRD/FSD (Blueprint) that aligns a customer’s technical business needs with Salesforce Solutions.
4. Drive technical (HL and LL) design and development for major components of focused solutions.
5. Offer best practice advice and recommendations to clients, often extending beyond Salesforce to overall systems architecture and CRM strategy.
6. Collaborate with the Functional team to determine the best implementation solutions (decisions around declarative vs programmatic vs AppExchange, etc.).
7. Maintain overall knowledge of solution components (transformation platform, integration platform, etc.) outside of the Salesforce platform.
8. Hands-on knowledge of Platform Security, PII data security, Authentication & Authorization.
9. Integration (REST, SOAP, Salesforce Connect, etc.), Data Migration, and Deployment Strategy.

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

1. Minimum 8 years to a maximum of 12 years’ experience in technology (product and engineering) and a minimum of 4+ years in Salesforce CPQ Development.
2. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Sales Cloud.
3. In-depth Salesforce CPQ experience, including both functional and technical knowledge (e.g., Product configurations, Bundles, Quoting process, Pricing, Discounting, and Workflows).
4. Ability to lead the team and support application design, with proven experience translating highly conceptual business needs into effective solutions.
5. Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex solutions using Salesforce CPQ capabilities.
6. Must have Salesforce Platform Developer 2 certification.
7. CPQ Functional Associate certifications.
