Taking what’s traditionally found in impenetrable, text-based legal documents, StructureFlow enables users to dynamically collate, visualise and model information holistically, enabling professionals to cut through complexity through the power of visual working.
StructureFlow has just secured Series A funding. We are growing fast and are at an exciting stage of scaling up. We have great traction today, working with over 50 highly engaged international law firms including 3/5 of the UK Magic Circle and a sizable segment of the US AMLAW 200.
As part of our scale up we are looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer to join our agile team and help us to leap forwards. StructureFlow has a dynamic, hybrid culture with 3 days in our WeWork London (Shoreditch/Liverpool Street) based office . We will provide all equipment for working from home, and our office in Central London offers a working space to use.
Requirements
You will be focused on ensuring our software corresponds to the specifications and highest quality standards of software development and deployment.
Whilst the primary focus is on manual testing of our React, Node.JS and Mongo stack, you will also get involved in E2E, API and Load test automation as well as testing of infrastructure as code deployments and general deployment activities and integrations testing.
- Scope and build automated and manual tests to ensure developer code is fit for purpose.
- Monitor, track, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Carry out different types of testing: functional testing (smoke, sanity, regression and usability), acceptance testing, integration testing, load testing, security testing, database testing, and non-functional testing (including for performance and security).
- Review new software requirements and prepare and update testing scenarios.
- Liaise with the team through daily stand-ups and sprint refinement sessions to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Adapt testing techniques and coverage to a rapidly evolving product.
Experience
It would be great if you can demonstrate experience with the following:
- Automation of Web based applications through Cypress
- Automation and manual verification of REST Services (e.g. Postman)
- Automation and manual verification of Performance and Load test scenarios (e.g. Gatling)
- Automation and manual verification of Security test scenarios (OWASP ZAP)
- Understanding integration of GitHub Actions in building CI/CD workflows for automation frameworks
- Issue tracking management and resolution using Shortcut/Jira or similar
As a team we value best practises, performance optimisations and integrate security by design.
Any experience relating to Legal tech or FinTech would be a welcome bonus.
Education
