For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Node/Vue/TypeScript) – Remote Europe , remotely from Europe .
In this role, you will work on building and enhancing a cutting-edge book editing tool, collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver new features. Your work will directly impact authors by helping them create beautiful and professional books for print and e-readers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take ownership of the full feature development process, from design to production, while also ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and ship new features for a collaborative word processor.
- Extend the platform’s feature set to enhance the user experience for authors and freelancers.
- Architect and develop highly scalable web applications with NodeJS, VueJS, and TypeScript.
- Improve the performance, durability, and security of applications in production.
- Take ownership of tasks and deliver features from inception to completion.
- Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and actively participate in improving team practices.
Requirements:
- Professional experience with NodeJS, VueJS, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of modern HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Proficiency in test-driven development and writing maintainable, high-quality code.
- Fluency in English and the ability to communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering great user experiences.
