IT Infrastructure Engineer

Your new organisation is a well-known Bank based in Central London who are looking to expand their existing Infrastructure function and bring on an additional Engineer to help support the bank\’s hardware, software, and operating systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Supporting the business-wide Network and Telecoms environment including all systems and fixed lines.
2. Helping optimise and manage the Azure Platform, including taking responsibility for CI/CD pipelines, firewalls, disaster recovery, and network design.
3. Utilising & developing Azure Monitor to ensure strong performance.
4. Supporting Infrastructure IT Projects & providing 3rd line Infrastructure support.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience of:

1. Working with VMWare.
2. Windows Server management experience including Exchange on-prem.
3. Experience with Palo Alto & Cisco Firewall management.
4. Management of Azure & DevOps including CI/CD pipelines.
5. Strong Cisco network management experience.

You will also have strong experience working for a large publicly listed organisation, preferably in Banking or Financial Services.
