Regional Access Leader for APAC – Multiple Therapy Area Portfolio
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to take the lead on a Regional Access portfolio spanning the 13 countries including China and emerging SEA Markets in pharmaceutical.
You will have a passion for Access and Pricing with exceptional commercial acumen within a pharmaceutical business and an equally strong capability in Technical HTA experience with some relevant qualifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Access
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external partners/stakeholders to develop market access strategies which align with business objectives to demonstrate value.
- Support countries with preparation of compelling pricing and reimbursement/funding submissions (government funding, tenders, and hospital listings) and payor and other stakeholder engagement plans to drive and expand access.
- Build, where appropriate, value dossiers, objection handlers, and payor engagement plans.
- Support local market access leads to develop local Market Access Plans for key brands.
- Provide input into the Regional Market Access, Pricing, and External Affairs annual and 5-year plans.
Pricing
- Oversee Pricing Governance across the region ensuring compliance with the regional pricing processes.
- Manage internal pricing approval platform and provide ongoing support to users.
- Support business development and portfolio planning activities as needed.
- Explore and implement different innovative access & pricing solutions to enhance patient access across the region.
Patient Advocacy
- Identify patient advocacy groups across Asia Pacific to collect market insights and build engagement plans and tools to position the business as a preferred partner for patient groups.
- Support local market access leads to build and implement patient advocacy plans based on the regional plan and tools to enable strong local relations with relevant patient advocacy groups for allocated brands/therapeutic areas.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor\’s Degree in life science or related field. Master’s Degree in Business Management or Health Economics preferred.
- At least 2 years of work experience in market access and pricing within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in pricing governance is a plus.
- Experience managing or supporting reimbursement and pricing submissions in Korea, China, and Taiwan will be an advantage.
- Strong financial, analytical, and decision-making skills with effective commercial and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability in value-based communication and a clear focus for influencing and negotiating with access and policy decision-making stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with effective communication. Problem solver, self-starter, highly motivated with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
