Are you an experienced Civils Operative? Are you flexible with occasional stay aways and night work?
Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Civils Operative to join the team. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £36,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus an OTE of an additional £15,000 overtime, pension scheme (once probation completed), annual leave, progressive opportunities.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be generally 5am – 4pm but can change depending on location of works. This role will require night work and stay away works, this will be communicated with sufficient notice provided.
Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Manhole cover reinstatements
- Channel drainage replacement
- Excavation works to remove and replace defective underground drainage
- Patch lining and drainage repairs
- CCTV investigations
- Above ground drainage repairs
- Manhole channel and benching reconfiguration
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in the drainage/civils industry with a basic knowledge of reinstatement/reconstruction works or willingness to learn
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
