My client are leaders in innovative BESS modular design and are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in the development of high-performance BESS solutions at +1MW power levels. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of multiple BESS electrical systems , ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Create electrical schematics , single-line diagrams, and field wiring diagrams in AutoCAD Electrical , following UL508A and IEC61439-1/2 standards.
- Evaluate system compliance with industry standards such as BS 7671, IEC 61508, and ISO 13849.
- Perform electrical simulations for AC/DC circuits, including load flow, fault analysis, and transient analysis.
- Oversee testing and commissioning , ensuring smooth transitions from design to operation.
Skills:
- Degree (BEng/MEng) in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- Expertise in power electronics, inverters, DC/AC conversion, and battery storage technologies.
- Strong experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
