Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Lewisham – £50,000
Location: Lewisham
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8AM – 5PM
PRS are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in Lewisham. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in Electrical building maintenance.
This role requires a hard-working Engineer with a background in mechanical maintenance, who can handle both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs efficiently. You’ll be responsible for maintaining mechanical plant equipment, such as pumps, filters, and motors.

Duties:
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing – Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc.
- Monitor the BMS systems.
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors
