This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical equipment.

Job Description:

  1. Issuing marshalling & wiring schematics to client specifications
  2. Developing and maintaining component libraries
  3. Supporting the mechanical engineers where required
  4. Maintaining standard designs
  5. Investigating new technologies
  6. Working closely with the fitting department to improve output to internal customers
  7. Marshalling box design
  8. Cooler control panel design
  9. AVR panel design

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge & understanding of relay logic
  2. Ability to read and draw electrical schematics
  3. Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
  4. AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
  5. Autodesk Inventor experience would be ideal but not essential
  6. Organised with good communication skills
  7. A sound knowledge of engineering design principles
  8. Good numeracy and I.T. skills
  9. Good problem-solving skills
  10. The ability to meet deadlines
  11. Attention to detail
