Commercial Gas Engineer

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering Company in their search for a Commercial Gas Engineer to work across the North West & Greater Manchester area .

For the successful Commercial Gas Engineer, our client is offering:

• 40 Hour week Monday – Friday (days)
• Permanent Role
• Company van and fuel card, paid travel time
• Company iPhone
• Specialist tools provided
• Call out Rota, £120 standby

The Role – Commercial Gas Engineer

• Working in various commercial & industrial client sites
• Fault Finding, Service, maintenance & breakdown work on commercial & industrial heating and ventilation plant
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Working on a variety of equipment including boilers, burners, radiant heaters, AHUs etc
• Attending emergency call-outs
• Completing statutory PPMs in line with SFG20
• Complete Electronic and paper records of all tasks carried out and fill in the site log books
• Manage subcontractors

What our client is looking for in a Commercial Gas Engineer

• Current and in-date ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, CDGA1 etc) ESSENTIAL
• Full Driving Licence ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience in a similar service & maintenance role ESSENTIAL
• Proven fault finding & breakdown experience ESSENTIAL
• City & Guilds F-Gas / City & Guilds 18th Edition BENEFICIAL
• NVQ/City & Guilds in Plumbing BENEFICIAL

Key skills or similar Job titles: Combustion Engineer, Commercial Heating engineer, HVAC Engineer, Gas Engineer, Boiler Engineer, Commercial Plumber.

Commutable From: Manchester, Stockport, Bolton, Wigan, Skelmersdale, Warrington.
