EasyPark’s Design System Team mission is to empower teams across EasyPark to create seamless, consistent, and delightful digital experiences through Rally, our multi-platform design system. We are committed to ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and innovation in every aspect of our design system, enabling EasyPark to deliver exceptional user experiences at scale.
Our goal is to provide a unified foundation that streamlines the design and development process, ensures brand consistency, and enhances the usability of EasyPark’s digital products.
Product design is essential in reaching our goal. Our design team, currently consisting of +25 members, also aspires to broaden EasyPark’s offerings into new markets. This presents significant potential to improve user experience and contribute to substantial business impact.
The broader R&D organization includes a genuinely diverse and distributed team of over 450 talented specialists in product, engineering, design, and analytics; located across Stockholm, Amsterdam, Basingstoke, Tallinn, Atlanta and more.
What you’ll be doing
As a Design System Designer at EasyPark, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Rally, our multi-platform design system. You will craft and maintain a comprehensive set of UX and visual guidelines, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all digital products. Collaborating closely with designers, developers, and product managers, you’ll create reusable UI components and design patterns that meet stakeholder needs and elevate the user experience. Your role involves documenting best practices, design standards, and usage guidelines, while also conducting design reviews to ensure proper implementation of Rally. Staying ahead of industry trends, you’ll integrate best practices into the system and champion the creation of accessible, inclusive, and innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain UX and visual guidelines for all digital products, continuously improving Rally Design System.
- Create reusable UI components and design patterns for use across platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to align the design system with stakeholder needs.
- Document design standards, best practices, and usage guidelines for Rally.
- Ensure all design system components are accessible and inclusive.
- Conduct design reviews and provide guidance for implementing the design system.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate best practices into the design system.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Strong visual design skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
