Our client is looking for a creative and trend-driven Product Designer with expertise in Fleece and Jersey .

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative, trend-led fleece and jersey collections in line with brands identity and market demand.
  • Trend research on colours, silhouettes, and fabric innovations to ensure collections are commercially relevant.
  • Create detailed CAD sketches, mood boards, and colour palettes to communicate design ideas.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development, Merchandising, and Garment Technical teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.
  • Work closely with suppliers to explore new textures, washes, and finishes suitable for fleece and jersey.
  • Attend trade shows, fashion weeks, and market research trips to stay ahead of emerging trends.
  • Oversee fit and sampling processes, ensuring the final product aligns with the original design vision.
  • Maintain an understanding of sustainability initiatives and explore eco-friendly materials and production techniques where possible

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer specializing in Fleece and Jersey apparel.
  • Strong knowledge of current fashion trends, colours, and materials within the casualwear sector.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design software.
  • Understanding of fabric construction, garment finishing, and print techniques.
