Our client is looking for a creative and trend-driven Product Designer with expertise in Fleece and Jersey .
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative, trend-led fleece and jersey collections in line with brands identity and market demand.
- Trend research on colours, silhouettes, and fabric innovations to ensure collections are commercially relevant.
- Create detailed CAD sketches, mood boards, and colour palettes to communicate design ideas.
- Collaborate with the Product Development, Merchandising, and Garment Technical teams to ensure designs are feasible for production.
- Work closely with suppliers to explore new textures, washes, and finishes suitable for fleece and jersey.
- Attend trade shows, fashion weeks, and market research trips to stay ahead of emerging trends.
- Oversee fit and sampling processes, ensuring the final product aligns with the original design vision.
- Maintain an understanding of sustainability initiatives and explore eco-friendly materials and production techniques where possible
Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Designer specializing in Fleece and Jersey apparel.
- Strong knowledge of current fashion trends, colours, and materials within the casualwear sector.
