As an ASC Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) to reach their full potential. You will work closely with the school’s SEN team to deliver tailored interventions, provide one-on-one support, and assist in creating an inclusive learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students with ASC in both one-on-one and small group settings.

  • Assisting teachers in adapting lesson plans to meet individual needs.

  • Monitoring students’ progress and providing feedback to teaching staff and parents/carers.

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASC Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school located in Wilmslow. This full-time position is available starting January and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role based on performance., The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people with ASC or other special educational needs.

  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting students’ well-being and academic success.

  • Be adaptable, organized, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Possess relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role (though this is not essential).

  • Be available full-time from January until the end of the academic year.

  • Weekly pay ranging from £419.25 to £500, paid through Teaching Personnel.
