Exciting new job opportunities have arisen for a Programme Support Team Leader to join our growing Asset Management and Programme Works Team (AMT), and we welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds.

We are looking to recruit for this position on a full-time basis at 37 hours per week on a 12-month temporary contract. This role involves some travel and working at various worksites across the city, with the expectation that some remote work from home is required.

The Programme Support Team supports the delivery of significant investment programmes that maintain and upgrade the Council’s housing stock of approximately 38,500 homes. The team provides high-quality customer engagement and support to ensure the smooth delivery of all our investment programmes.

The successful candidate will join the team, working alongside the existing postholder to manage and drive forward the team while also developing and delivering a comprehensive communications package for customers and stakeholders, both internal and external.

We are seeking a dedicated first-line manager with the ability to empower a team to achieve their potential. Excellent attention to detail and the skills to drive a project at pace are essential.

You will understand the benefits of clear and accessible communication across a range of media.
