About the Role:
This position is highly design-focused and ideal for an engineer who thrives in a technically demanding environment. You’ll be responsible for producing detailed structural solutions and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate structural design calculations for reinforced concrete and structural steel elements
- Develop high-quality drawings and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant design codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure buildability and efficiency
- Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers as needed
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- 2 - 7 years experience in Structural Design
- Proficiency in structural design software such as Tekla, Tedds, StaadPro, or similar
- Strong background in reinforced concrete design and familiarity with structural steel
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE) is advantageous
