EMEA Marketing Events Manager

Who We Are
Channel Factory is an official YouTube partner dedicated to helping brands monetise and optimise creator content on the YouTube platform. As a fast-growing global organisation with 28+ offices worldwide, we operate across three key regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC. We are looking for an experienced and strategic event marketer to lead event marketing efforts across EMEA, supporting business growth through high-impact event activations, partnerships, and industry engagements. This role will play a pivotal part in filling the top of the funnel, driving lead generation, and strengthening Channel Factory\’s presence in the market.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As the EMEA Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing innovative event marketing strategies across the region. Your goal will be to create compelling experiences that enhance brand awareness, foster engagement, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the EMEA event marketing strategy, aligning with regional and global objectives.
- Own the full event lifecycle, from initial strategy and planning to execution and post-event analysis.
- Set, communicate, and maintain clear project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
- Research, source, and negotiate with vendors, venues, suppliers, and contractors to ensure optimal partnerships.
- Source thoughtful and sustainable swag items that reflect our brand values and elevate the event experience.
- Ensure all events are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed expectations in terms of impact and ROI.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, travel, and supplier management.
- Manage pre-event planning, including agenda creation, speaker coordination, and delegate experiences.
- Ensure flawless on-site execution, including managing teams, briefing stakeholders, and troubleshooting real-time challenges.
- Work closely with key stakeholders across various markets to tailor event experiences to local audiences, ensuring event experiences are personalised and impactful.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to ensure seamless event promotion and execution.
- Engage with industry partners and associations (e.g. IAB, industry awards, conferences, trade shows) to build strategic collaborations.
- Own and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and effective resource allocation.
- Track event performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, lead generation, and ROI.
- Leverage analytics and feedback to optimise future event strategies.
- Proactively research new event opportunities that drive brand awareness and business growth.
- Travel as needed for site visits, planning meetings, and on-site event execution.
- Contribute and collaborate on both regional and central marketing initiatives.
What You Bring to the Team
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in event marketing, ideally within AdTech, Media, or a fast-paced tech environment.
- A strong strategic and creative mindset, with a track record of executing high-impact events.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen ability to build relationships across teams and with external partners.
- Experience managing C-Level stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of event logistics, budgeting, and contract negotiations.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
- A team-oriented approach with a positive attitude, embracing a collaborative and fast-moving work culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps for Work, and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus.
- University degree educated is a plus.
Working Hours & Expectations
- Standard office hours apply, but flexibility is required, especially in the lead-up to events.
- Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.
- Travel within the UK and EU is required for planning, site visits, and event execution.
- This role is based in EMEA and reports to the EMEA Marketing Director in London.
