C++ Software Engineer required by a market leading software company based in Southampton, Hampshire.

Hybrid working arrangement – flexibility around working hours and office based work.

The successful candidate will be involved in the development of the company’s core software product written in C++.

Opportunities to get involved with software design and architecture as well as gaining exposure to various other technologies.

Key experience

1. C++
2. STL
3. Windows and/or Linux Programming

Any experience in the following areas would be advantageous for any application;

1. Java
2. NoSQL databases
3. Algorithm development
4. Issue Tracking (Gemini, Bugzilla)
5. Continuous Integration (Hudson, Cruise Control)
6. Source Control (SourceSafe, SVN, CVS)
