Financial Analyst (maternity cover) – UK (London)

The Role

Sonnedix is looking for a dynamic Financial Analyst to join us a one-year fixed-term contract, reporting directly to the Manager of Portfolio Analytics. This role will support our Growth function by analysing acquisition opportunities at all stages of development, construction, and operation. The Financial Analyst requires a strong foundation in financial modelling and a keen understanding of the renewable energy market. The role will be based in London and will predominantly aid the German and UK markets.

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial models for renewable power plant projects, with a focus on new development opportunities across multiple countries. This includes evaluating investment opportunities through scenario analysis, optimizing performance, and managing financial portfolios for existing and new power plants. The role also involves designing high-quality performance reports for management, investors, and lenders, identifying underperformance risks, and supporting the finance team with management accounts and monthly reporting when needed. Additionally, the analyst will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during acquisitions, due diligence, and financing processes.
