Job Description
They are seeking a candidate with a strong delegated authority background to oversee audits of Outsourced Service Providers (OSPs) to whom the company delegates authority. This includes audit preparation, on-site fieldwork, drafting reports, and tracking closure of audit findings.
The successful candidate will ensure OSPs operate as expected, comply with contractual and regulatory requirements, and have appropriate systems and controls in place to ensure positive consumer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and conduct audits both onsite and remotely, including travel and overseas opportunities.
- Focus on processes and controls in delegated authority areas such as underwriting, claims, product distribution, finance, reporting, IT, governance, and compliance.
- Report findings, make recommendations, monitor management responses, and facilitate implementation.
- Prepare and deliver audit reports.
- Identify risks, communicate remedial actions, and ensure follow-up.
- Maintain the Audit Tracker and record regulatory or contract breaches.
- Escalate overdue findings and maintain comprehensive audit records.
- Assist with annual audit planning and reporting to management.
- Collaborate on specialist ad hoc audit projects and perform due diligence/on-boarding processes.
- Support colleagues and external resources on various projects.
Requirements
Strong delegated authority audit experience, ability to conduct both onsite and remote audits, excellent reporting skills, and the ability to travel as needed.
