Night Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Night Porter to join our team in providing exceptional guest services within our establishment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests, assisting with their needs, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing assistance with luggage and inquiries.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms during the night.

• Assist guests with directions, recommendations, and any special requests they may have during their stay.

• Ensure that all equipment and supplies are well-stocked and organised for guest use and for the morning teams.

• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and enhance guest satisfaction.

• Handle phone calls professionally, addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel immediately.

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not essential.

• Strong phone etiquette skills are necessary for effective communication with guests.

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.

• A background in hotel operations or guest services will be advantageous.

• A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service are essential qualities for success in this role.
