Door and glass manufacturer, based in Billingham is requiring a HGV2 delivery driver, to deliver their products to residential and business addresses around the whole of the UK. Start times for the HGV2 Drivers are generally 6am sometimes 7am dependent upon where the first drop is in the country and the work is only Monday to Friday, there will be 2 -3 nights out involved in this role, but you will definitely be away on a Monday and Tuesday night, home Wednesday and possibly away Thursday, but again dependent upon deliveries, most drivers only do the 2 nights out, and HGV2 drivers are paid £35.00 per night out, and you will be put up in a hotel and NOT be sleeping in a cab. All HGV2 Drivers will be expected to move the products for delivery to the back of the vehicle where the contractor will then take them off for them, it is normally 45-50 hours per week. HGV2 Drivers must have a minimum of 12 months driving experience, a valid HGV2 Licence, CPC and Digicard, no more than 6 points on their licence and no DR/DD offences, there is also the potential for this to go temp to perm for the right driver as the company are increasing the fleet with brand new vehicles. Please be aware that due to this work being agency work, it wont be suitable for HGV2 drivers in permanent employment
