M&A Senior Analyst
Calling all M&A Analysts!
We are looking for someone who approaches challenges with a commercial focus, has a solid academic background, and outstanding communication skills as a collaborator. You will be a confident communicator with excellent Microsoft Excel, analytical and mathematical skills, with experience building and working on corporate financial models.
This position is located in our London office, situated in the heart of the City on Leadenhall Street. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, with expectations of being in the office 2-3 days a week.
What the day will look like
As a Senior Analyst – M&A you will be responsible for:
- Financial modelling
- Investment appraisal
- Case preparation for potential M&A activity
- Preparation of board level analysis / presentations
- M&A project management and transactional work with professional advisors
- Management of due diligence processes
- Support Corporate Development Deal Lead in all matters related to M&A
Skills and experience that will lead to success.
- Understanding of asset valuation techniques, Net Present Value, IRR and ROIC
- Experience building and working on corporate financial models.
- Financial Services background is beneficial but not essential.
Formal Education & Certification:
- Strong academic qualifications – bachelor’s degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent
- Big 4 accountancy firm qualified ACA (not mandatory)
- Strategic Consultancy / Investment Banking / Corporate Finance training
